Great, is there anyone else you would like calling up for international duty? It has worked for Tremlett, Muralitharran, Styris, Streak and now Hussey.

When does he go?

Which one is which? Either way... it would'nt take much to recall them.

Mike Hussey, he misses the last two county championship matches and a few one dayers as well.

Of course depending on Clarkes fitness either he or Symonds could be called into the team.

Why Hussey is not in the team anyway is totally bizarre. If he was there at no.6, I feel the English would be much more worried, as they could hardly dismiss him in the ODI's.

Both of them, Micheal for Mathew Hayden and Darren for the obviously injured Michael Clarke. Tait in for Gillespie is now so obvious the blind Trevor Hohns should even be able to see it.

I still think Hayden needs to go, his dismissal proves that. Not looking at the ball at all. But I'm now starting to wonder if we have too many lefties in our side and England (Flintoff especially) is bowling too well against them. Maybe we should bring in a right handed batter instead. Hussey is left handed isn't he?, so maybe he's not the answer. Any other suggestions people?

Your right it has been noticeable that Warne (a right hander) seems to be flourishing. Maybe Hodge should come in for Hayden and maybe Martyn or Gilchrist has to be pushed down to open with Langer

I think Hayden, Gilly and Katich have looked completely baffled out there, where as Martyn and Ponting have generally got out to very good balls or silly shots. Langer seems to be ok, but again has had some good balls.

Dropping Hayden and opening with Gilly may be an excellent oportunity to get Gilly away from that reverse swing he is enountering later in the innings, and put some acid on Harmison and Jones opening spell by getting the Aussies off to a flyer.
No great loss if it does'nt come off as Hayden is not going to trouble the scorer much anyway. Watson for Katich could still be on as well and Hodge for the out of form Haydo

My team in batting order

Langer
Gilchrist
Ponting
Martyn
Clarke (if fit otherwise Hussey)
Hodge
Watson
Warne
Lee
Tait
McGrath

Looks reasonable to me. If Gilly goes cheap then we're in the same situation as we are now, and if he gets off to a flyer then at least we'll have 50-100 runs on the board when we're one down.
