Clarky will definitely be back in the national team sooner or later. He just has too much class not to be in the team

Angry

i think the selectors had to make changes from the team who toured england but i think theyve sacked 2 of the 3 batsman that didnt actually go too bad.

Martyn copped some terrible decisions and had a couple of ther stiff dismissals but still batted alright.
Clarke just about made a hundred over their and made alot more runs then alot of tohers who played in that team.Even in Clarkes last innings against the windies, he got out to a spectacular catch as has been the case many times. Then wen he does make sum runs, the selectors choose not to go watch him. Y not? i dnt no.
As for gillespie good he can go fine. That was there 1 good decision.

Yeah, Gillespie had a shocking tour. Clarke didn't need to be dropped, but looks like its turned out better for the team, with Brad Hodge making good runs...

ive meet him he is not arrogent at all, he is one of the best batsman to watch when he is in full fligh, he has the best technique you will ever see and he has deserved to be in the australian team for a long time, Clarke could be the future of australian cricket, but only if he adjusts him technique, and his temperment. People use the excuse that he is young and he will grow out of it but if u look at Graeme Smith he is the same age as Clarke, what a future Smith has

VB (Victoria Bitter Ambassader) Boony pre empted him being dropped on national TV after he as in VB Boony's words got himself out in his last Test appearance.

VB Boony's philophy was that Clarke had to do a Scarlett O'Hara eat some dirt or a carrot and then re appear as a more complete unit ala Steve Waugh in the mid nineties.

I think Boony's right.

Agree with rowan that Brad Hodge has a great technique to watch.

Who is VB Boony? Is that the small one that comes with the VB promotion?
