Strange tactics by Australia, IMHO. Watson as an opener when chasing a modest total? I don't see the point.

And their best ODI batsmen, who's also one of the best in the world, comes in at 7, in the 42nd over of a 50 over game?! Seems daft, but then I am no expert. In my simple world, teams would build their ODI innings around chaps like Hussey.

Hussey would have more to finish if he came in up the order. What a waste of a talented batsman.

The Hussey theory is the same as the Bevan theory, he is perfect for finish matches he usually has Symonds with him who can do the power hitting and is amazingly quick like Hussey. Hussey bats well with the tail and can straight away hit the ball as well as anyone. He would be a good opener but he also can help the team get ten runs an over in the last ten overs.
