| It's an excersise based entirely on guess work. I think, all things being equal, Australia will probably win. But they won't if Warne doesn't fire, or if KP runs amok with the bat and Harmison with the ball. If I had to be pushed, I'd say Aus 3-1, but 2-2 a distinct possibility. Of course, the beauty of sport is that none of us have any idea! Last edited by first change : 23-11-2006 at 04:22 PM. |

IMO England could get a drawn series which would be enough. Unlike 2005 which was easy to predict, this series I think will twist and turn, so how do you get numbers?.

| 2-2,Dad's Army will be creaking with all the back to back games and England will get stronger as the series goes on. |

Also don't forget that England lost the first Test last time and won two out of the next three, we only needto draw and the Ashes are going nowhere!! |

And at home, we had bowlers who were fit and firing. Would love to be proved wrong, but can't see anything less than a 3-1 result to Australia at the moment. |

| England were horrible today, they were totally humiliated by the Australian batting line up, apart from Giles & Flintoff the rest of the side didn’t look like they could bowl out the Australian U19's team. Ponting was a class above all the bowlers apart from Flintoff. I have a lot of respect for Flintoff because of the way he carried his side with the ball, I expect a lot of dead weight that Flintoff will have to carry through out the series. Harmison bowled poop, Hoggard could not swing the kookaburra ball, Anderson's accuracy was disappointing, Giles was good he varied his pace and flight very well and did not allow the batsman to move there feet to the pitch of the ball. Congratulations Ricky Ponting bringing up his 32nd test century which is amazing at the age of 31, plenty more to come in this series and the future. Agree with the excuse that it was a flat wicket but it is not an excuse for poor line and length, Flintoff showed how to bowl on a flat track. Hit the deck hard. McGrath, Lee and Clark are good at that method. Plus Warne’s favourite place to bowl in Australia is the GABBA. Australia 4-0
