Lee is Binga because apprently that means some one good looking in Australian slang.

Hussey was Mr Cricket until I last heard, I see he is also "Huss".

I think I knew why Symonds was Roy but I forget.

Oh, good grief! Can't they play in whites? The Australians are the world's worst (or best) for abbreviating everything. Even the MCG is now routinely abbreviated - to "the G", if you please! There's no stopping this, I suppose, but wasn't life simple when they played in white?

Just for correctness OF the "MCG" has been known as the "G" for decades - so it is not just now. But this is also what the Melbourne people affectionly call there ground.

Bracken & Andy G: Andy G is a T.V. presenter here who looks like Bracken.
Gilchrist & Church: when he was miked up for the game he explained that years ago a little kid after an autograph
thought that his name was Aaron? Gilchurch.

I too thought Hussey was Mr Cricket. At least that's how Nasser Hussain refers to him constantly...

Andrew Symonds new nickname should surely be Papa Lazarou?

Talking of rubbish nicknames, the English are the worst. Just add a "y" to any cricketers name.

Belly, Colly, Straussy, Vaughany, Hoggy, Harmy, Jonesy, Ready.

No-one has a vaguely imaginative one apart from John "Postman Pat" Lewis and Ed "Ulysses" Joyce.

Well, A-Y, I guess that's stopped the Melburnians! After all, is there any further they can go with that one?
