| Three legends of the game. What about Kumble he is the most under-rated bowler to ever play the game. Fourth on the all time wickets and will pass McGrath soon to be third, which will make the top three wicket takers all spinners. Its a good era for the spinners. (",) Kumble - 547 wickets at 28.65, econ 2.63, 33 five wicket innings, bb 10/74 Warne - 708 wickets at 25.41, econ 2.65, 37 five wicket innings, bb 8/71 Muralitharan - 674 wickets at 21.73, econ 2.39, 57 five wicket innings, bb 9/51 Kumble is not an exciting bowler as Warne and Muralitharan but he is a quiet achiever he has different skills like subtle variation and is a pacier bowler that changes his pace he also has a very good wrong-un. The main thing that makes these bowlers so great is that there accuracy is amazing and the pressure they build is amazing. Three legends of the game.

As Bush would say democracy gives me the s**ts. Give me McGrath any day. Warne vs India in India...:9 tests,34 wickets at 43.12. McGrath vs India in India:8 tests,33 wickets at 21.30. Warne will be remembered for longer because he mastered a harder art and has a larger than life persona but he was not a better bowler IMHO.

I would have to go with Warne as i consider him to be the greatest bowler that ever lived McGrath isnt as good as he used to be all so lost abit to much pace.

Warne wins everytime , he offers so much more than McGrath, he has a cricketing brain, a great catcher, and can bat, and he takes wickets for fun if i striding out agaisnst either, I'd much rather face McGrath

Warne wins every time he offers so much more a cricket brain, he's handy with the bat, an excellent slip feilder, and theres the small matter of 700 wickets, if i was striding out too bat i would rather see McGrath than warney
