Australia's all time 30 man one day squad. Will be cut to 12 next week

Australia's 30-man all-time one-day squad Terry Alderman, Michael Bevan, David Boon, Allan Border, Greg Chappell, Ian Chappell, Simon Davis, Adam Gilchrist, Jason Gillespie, Gary Gilmour, Matthew Hayden, Michael Hussey, Dean Jones, Brett Lee, Darren Lehmann, Dennis Lillee, Damien Martyn, Greg Matthews, Craig McDermott, Glenn McGrath, Tom Moody, Simon O'Donnell, Ricky Ponting, Bruce Reid, Paul Reiffel, Andrew Symonds, Doug Walters, Shane Warne, Mark Waugh, Steve Waugh.

My question is what will be the final result. Here is my team out of these players
  1. Adam Gilchrist (wk) - Best ever WK batsman. 14x100, 48x50, 375 catches 45 stumpings
  2. Dean Jones - Could have been Hayden or Mark Waugh
  3. Rickey Ponting (c) - Australia's best ever one day batsman, 21x100, 58x50. 9741 runs at 42.16
  4. Greg Chappell (vc) - Great Batsman
  5. Michael Hussey - Unsure if he has played enough but average of 66+ isnt too bad.
  6. Andrew Symonds - Power hitter down the order, best fieldsman, offspin & mediums. Very Very Handy
  7. Michael Bevan - Australia's finisher, 232 mat, 6912 runs at 53.58
  8. Shane Warne _ Warney selectes himself
  9. Dennis Lillee - Obviously Lillee is a legend, 63 mat 103 wickets at 20.82
  10. Brett Lee - Third behind Warne and McGrath on the most wickets list, 150 mat, 267 wickets at 22.65, sr 29
  11. Glenn McGrath - Australia's leading wicket taker in ODI's 354 wicket at 22.59. Pidge is a champion
12th/13th Men - Matthew Hayden/Steve Waugh

I'm not sure I like the idea of 20 overs of spin from Warne and the part-timers. Steve Waugh was a handy medium-pacer and should probably be in the starting XI. I'd replace Greg Chappell or Mike Hussey with Waugh.

I have never rated Steve Waugh highly, espically in ODI's.

I think a bowling line up that looked like this would be decent

Lillee (10 overs)
McGrath (10 overs)
Lee (10 overs)
Warne (10 overs)
Symonds (5/10 overs) Mediums or Spin
Chappell (5 overs)

Steve Waugh in his prime was a great ODI player. He always was a solid batsman and before his injuries he often bowled out the last few overs of each match which as you all know is a difficult thing to do and that task is only given to strong bowlers. While not usually considered a all rounder in his early years that was the position Waugh filled in the one day side.
