Clarke does have that reputation, and i agree that his ODI record is not great. But i cannot understand why for the life of me, because he has all the neccesary attributes needed for the game. He can change it up, can bowl on the spot at reasonable pace, and is good under pressure and performs well on the big stage.
He was lucky to make it to the Ashes XI, yet proved the doubters wrong by performing magnificently. Hopefully for Aus, he will do the same next month.

I was going to add that comment to my post. All he needs is a good slower ball and the ability to bowl a yorker and he should be a fine ODI bowler.

However Hoggard has the same problem, he isnt percieved as a good one day bowler and to be fair his ODI record isnt great. Again i cant understand why.
