In the ODI team, Hodge will get a place if Watson becomes opener (replacing Hayden).
Test Team:

Hayden
Hussey
Ponting
Clarke
Hodge
Symonds/Watson
Gilchrist/Haddin
Lee
Macgill
Clark
Tait/Johnson/Hilfinhaus

^^^^Something like that?

Yeah, that looks pretty solid, even though I'm not a fan of Symonds/Watsons inclusion, but the selectors feel they must pick an all-rounder. God only knows why.

Oh, and MacGill will be the number 11 bat. Dead set bunny he is

Yeah, wasn't too sure to be honest.

Still not too sure about hussey opening. I know outside of international cricket he plays there alot, but his ashes performance in the middle really added stability. The guy would just not give his wicket away! Love his character, i really do! If only every team could have a Mike Hussey

I think you are right with this prediction Quaggy except I think Haddin will miss the cut; now that Gilchrist has continued after the World Cup I consider Ronchi's credentials to take over the job are fast growing and Haddin's are probably fast diminishing.
I predict at the end of the 2007/08 season Luke Ronchi will be clearly be the most likely replacement for Adam Gilchrist.
