| Quick note to ricky (on kallis) just scanned another cricketers take on journalism - ricky's piece above. and a note on the having had the better of kallis in tests. season 2004/05 5 10 1 625 162 149 136* 69.44 3 2 2 ave of 70 against aus. - i guess that's high praise indeed from punter. Oz only ever had the better of kallis in thier first ever series against him which was understandable possibly as it was his first ever series. a mid 30s ave in 2003 was not so good for him i guess but an ever rising (quite quickly now obviously) ave against OZ sheds a bit of light on how deep OZ reach into the barrel when it comes to 'mental disintegration'. they'd be a more enjoyable team to watch (for this observer) if they just played cricket and kept their war-cries down to a operatic warble. |

| Some people with the exeption to Richard Hadlee would not believe how scientific and exacting we are with Aussie rules football. Ricky often likes to sit in the coaching box on match day with the Kangaroos who he is the number one ticket holder of. Even English soccer coaches would not fathom the statistical analysis that goes into every match. A bit like NFL gridiron with a few less people and coaches but cut from the same cloth. P.S # When Warnie was still under the ICB ban for testing positive he took up the position of assistant coach of the St Kilda Football Club which an angry ICB protested about and hence he was dismissed.
