Just starting to think Luke Ronchi (WA Keeper) may deserve a call up for power hitting alone. Imagine the fireworks if he and Cameron White start launching balls out of the park simultaneously late in the innings after a Symonds attack. Adam Vogues may be worthwhile as well and Luke Butterworth may still be in contention if Watson is not coming.

I believe NZ are doing something similar by sendin Jacob Oram up to about four in the order rather than hsi normal spot at 6 or 7.

Just went up the pub and saw the odds.

Australia favourites at $1:25 and i think i saw NZ at $4:00.

I believe that NZ are good enough to win and Oram will play a huge part.

Will be interesting how the punters look at it if Punter,Clark and Watson all don't play.

Stuart Clark didn't really play much of a part in the World Cup. Watson will be a moderate but coverable loss.
Punter though you can not cover, you can only try to limit the loss.
Still I think the Kiwis have got bigger issues Oram and Symonds are on about par, but once you go past Oram they have only got window decorations at best.
