Just something about our bowling that aint right.
I dont think we can dismiss it as unfortunate hit and giggle, it will show in 50 over matches and tests as well.

The boys can hold their heads high i think. It's 20/20 - basically pot luck who wins one way or the other. Good luck to Sri Lanka and Pakistan in the final in any case

It was only T20.

A quick tournament that sees players tee off.

Australia really couldn't give a toss and i don't think many of us fans care aswell.

We have won every other trophy and im sure we will go very close in 2011.

The quantity and content of your other posts would suggest otherwise

I really cannot bear people who back track when they're beaten.

I think Seamer says it all in his post - 20/20 is a lottery, things like winning the toss are exagerated to ridicilous proportions.

To Jackson I would say wining a Test series takes skill, and to a point winning the PJ World Cup - but with 20/20 it can't be taken for granted that Australia will ever with that tournament, nor India retain it for that matter.

If ever a tourament was made for a minnow to produce a shock win, then 20/20 is the game.

I still reckon it is a step beyond the minnows "Ern" I just have a nasty little theory that this form of cricket may take over from the 50 over format somewhere down the track.

I don't think so. I started a thread on some interesting comments made by F.I.C.A the other day.

F.I.C.A - 20/20 set to create financial headaches

Lets look at the financial facts. F.I.C.A's business models state that 20/20 games will cause financial headaches and i think i have worked out why;

Both ODI and 20/20 matches sell out so there is no net financial gain for 20/20 there. But ODI's run longer, thus the various cricket boards gain more dollars for selling the rights. the TV networks gain more advertisement dollars when telecasting, the various grounds gain more advertisement dollars and have more time to sell more beer chips and pies ect....

Myself, i am starting to breath easier. I think that 20/20 will become a format mainly used for domestic competitions that are struggling to attract crowds, while the international competitions will focus more on ODI's and tests because ultimately that is how they will make the most money.
