| Adelaide will not come into it SBM. We play India first at Melbourne, which should favour the Aussies going by the way the MCG wicket had played this year. Next is Sydney - that will be India's best chance and particularly if they win the toss and bat first. Then comes the WACA. I don't think they are even accepting bets on the Aussies for that one. If Ponting wins at the SCG and the MCG, i reckon the record will be his.

| I think they will definately win in Melbourne (assuming the weathers OK) and the WACA so I make you right on the record unless as you say the Indians get stuck in if they bat first in Sydney. Needless to say I will be applying to Nostro for honourary Indian status for the duration of the series |

A weak struggling NZ or England is never something i like to see. The fact that England and NZ are such terrible winners makes that hard sometimes though.

| True, so little practice of winning! The Kiwi test team is not even worthy of discussion, some bits & pieces players who sometimes upset the applecart in one-dayers, absolutely forgettable when it comes to the real deal. |

As for the players, yes most aren't up to the standard of the aussies but I'd take Vettori over any current aussie spinner anyday and Bond over almost all of your pace bowlers. It's hard to develop a winning test match culture when the administration is determined to give you as little test match cricket as possible instead focusing on the cash cow that is one day cricket/2020. |

And totally disagree with you with that statement
Yes, Ponting will break the record 545.45%
A few of our reputations riding on the WACA result. ![]() |

| Fortunately the ship has long since sailed on my reputation!! How do the oz posters compare the merits of Waugh and Pontings side? Also I heard a stat that out of these 16 wins about 80% were at home. That can't be right can it? If so the ECB should take a leaf out of the oz boards scheduling book. |

| I would have to give it to Ponting, Gilly captained one of the 16 winning tests (#13) in the Steve Waugh sequence. Plus I think Ponting's teams have had higher caliber opponents.
