Ashraful scores 200 in English Domestic

Ashraful Banged home 202 for his English minor league Club Rainhill today http://merseysideccups.play-cricket....sp?id=10211761 the scorecard won't give his score but if you go to the rainhill's website on the bottom it'll say Ash double century leads rainhill www.rainhillcc.org

Great for Bangladesh Cricket, good to see him coming back to form, what do you all think?

Well, he's my second-fave Bangladeshi player (after Khaled Mashud, of course )

And if he's getting his form of last year back, I for one, am very happy...

Yes I think he will be, Not many 21 year olds have scored double centuries and that too in foreign condition, I think it is a fantastic achievement

I think they should take a punt and give him the opening slot, at least in ODI's. He plays best when he is given a free license to hit, and he could initiate a Jayasuriya or Gilchrist type innings. He has the talent thats for sure, who can forget the way he butchered the English attack last year.

Don't forget the butchering he gave to the Aussie bowlers as well.

He is one of the best young batsmen out there and diffinatly has the talent to be one of the best in the future, but he needs to learn to build an innings and not give his wicket away, he is much like Afridi. Once he learns to value his wicket the cricketing world will be able say hello to the first world class Bangladeshi batsman.

Lets not get all excited. WHAT TEAM DID he play. A name by what English minor league Club Rainhill.

He has to make a good total against a INTERNATIONAL team not a team like Club Rainhill. Ashraful is my favorite player on team Bangladesh. HE has been strugling he needs to make runs in international games or else he will get kicked out of the team.

well said words uham
he definitely needs more temperament as a batsmen
he plays too many foolish shots to give away his wickets
if he can watch and play the ball on merit instead afridi like inning he would improve
this 200 definitely does not telll the truth about his talent
the side he played for and agianst were one of those minor league teams with school boy cricketers
if not 200's atleast regular 50's and 100's would give his team world of good
they believe in him but he has deliver it or else it will only hype(we are already hearing about him for past 4 years)
