Hopefully just time Uham.

Bangladesh were thrown to the lions too early in my opinion. The ICC's decision to fast-track them to test status was ill thought out, in my opinion.

But, on the positive side, it seems that the youth of Bangladesh are really taking to the sport and it show not be too many years until the test teams starts to boast some really talented players in a similar vein to the way Sri Lanka have produced some beauties.

I think their solution is youth and time.

I agree with Lemming...Bangladesh has some really talented young players. They just need time.

How is the domestic scene in Bangladesh? Good system and structure?

Cricket is the most popular sport here so the future is bright, The U 19 team finished above Pakistan and New Zealand in the group stages of the U-19 world cup beating them both, so in 3 or 4 years we will be able to compete with the best

Lets not get excited Rifat Pakistan under 19 has domanited a long period of time. Im a paki fan and a bangali fan but a lot more Pakistani fan. Bangladesh shure has talent but in 3,4 years I dont think they can compete with the VERY BEST.. And I have still yet to try out for Pakistan Under 19 to be the next great Pakistani captain

I enjoyed watching Bangladesh play, I also liked the way Bangladesh play.

In my opinion time and a couple more players coming through with make a lot of difference, and maybe not yet beating the top sides, Bangladesh in two years I think will be a much harder side to beat, and will WIN more games.

A change of coach at this time I think would be a disaster, he has done all he could with the inexperienced players at Test level he could, and you can see a definate improvment.

Ern I think you have just gave me an idea.. Thats what Bangladesh need a change in coach. Well thats what I think they need someone with experince and talent. Someone who knows thes game. Maybe John Wright or evem Javed Minadad. I think not many of know who Bangladeshs coach is, I have seen him a lot but dont know his name can some one tell me. I think if they change the coach and bring in maybe John Wright they might get more expernce to become a better team. Whose there coach again and how many games has he played in his international carrer??? MY POINT

I think very famous in bangladesh and they have good talent coming through as well, its just a matter of time I would hope. May be better cricketing infrastructure in the country would help.
Though i have no doubt in my mind that years down the line, bangladesh will be among the top 5 countries in the world.
