Bangladesh bowled for their lowest ever total

Bangladesh dont seem to be getting any better in test cricket even though they reached super eight

Bangladesh shot out for their lowest Test score*-*News*-*News*-*Indiatimes Cricket

And to think BD moderator was praising the team for having the best lowest cricket score among all teams

BD lowest test score better than all the rest.

The more they play, perhaps in time the better they will become. They seem to be progressing slightly in the one-day format, but the Test format is oblivious. I guess all we can do is wait for them to improve over time. Though that hasn't happened much for Zimbawbe, it might happen one day. Look at some of the players Zimbawbe have produced like Andy Flower and...Hmmm, Heath Streak??

The ICC could be concerned one day if they are still as pants as they are now, but look at Sri Lanka, population is 50 times smaller than Bangladesh but they have managed to produced world class cricketers.

Yea it was their lowest score, but they are an improving nation, a very young squad, and c'mon, at this stage did anyone really expect them to do anything away to a side like Sri Lanka?

A few positives still came out, Ashraful made a great 100, his 1st series as captain. Rahim came into the test side for his 1st couple of games, made a good knock of 77(i think) in the 2nd test, and Nafees hit a decent 50 in the final one.

Their 1st innings scores were poor, put them out of the game really, and their bowling wouldnt match up to the likes of Kumar and co.

But give it a couple of years, with these youngsters in the side, and the likes of Bashar and maybe in time Rafique leaving the side, i still believe they will be competing with test sides in the future, especially at home.
