The worst collapse ever...

Courtesy of my bunch of "cricketers":

47.2 W Wilkshire to Lamb
Undone by a hard, fast yorker which uprooted middle stump.
47.3 W Wilkshire to Finlayson
Davidson takes a superb catch above his head. It looked as though Finlayson might have gotten away with that one, but the catch was simply brilliant!
47.4 . Wilkshire to Thabethe
A slower ball, so slow it's as if it's plowing through treacle! Thabethe played before the ball was halfway to him, but it was safely away from his stumps.
47.5 W Wilkshire to Thabethe
Played on! Thabethe was picturing the ball running away to the long on boundary as he played that stroke, but it has taken the inside edge and so it is him heading in that direction instead.
47.6 W Wilkshire to Waterhouse
He's gone! Brilliantly bowled slower delivery completely deceived the batsman and he lobbed back a tame return catch to Wilkshire.
The bowler in question ended the over with 6/49, and picked up another two balls later to wrap up the innings. 5/1 in eight balls - not bad is it?

Only problem was my lot were batting!

Oh dear Adam. Mind, there's a fellow by the name of Wilkshire who plays for England U19s or something, I think.

Adam, what's your team name? We still haven't got a friendly for this week...

I wish I could claim that as an excuse but he's not, I've checked.

Panthers CC is my team, I've challenged you at your place but I can't guarantee much of a match.

Can I just thank Ryan, Acton and Oakley for giving Finlayson a hat trick?

Challenge for this week accepted, I've included two new signings so it might be a slightly closer match this time.

Yeah, they needed to set themselves some sort of challenge for their bowling. :P Bit of a funny collapse though, 238-3 to 311ao. :S

Looking forward to round 2.

Erm... I probably shouldn't have said that should I? Batsman manages 2, all-rounder manages 1 and goes wicketless. And there was a pretty familiar collapse at the end...

You knocked over our superb batsman for 33 though, so it's not all bad. I did play our premier seamer though, so your batting was clearly an improvement on last week.
