Well easy win - bowled out the opposition for 81. The bad side was that I lost 3 wickets in getting the total - at least it was to a decent bowler.

Round two will be a testing match and one I don't think I will be able to TIE. Should get a win and put me through to round three.

Well there's a surprise... the mighty Panthers crashed out of the cup; bowled out for 61 chasing 293. At least my new bowlers showed some application with the ball... shame the existing ones couldn't!

We've coasted past a VI bot (100 runs) and a weak V team (8 wickets) on a TIE both times, playing some first teamers and some reserves. It's the full first team on a TIE this week against a weaker IV side, as we try to continue to build fitness and morale for the title push.

I got dumped out in the 2nd round thanks to a div 5 side opening pair I could not get out and then his one monster bowlers took out my top two bats in the first three balls.

At least I will have a better run next cup.

Won by 22 runs in a massive run-fest, on a TIE. Adu and Cooper got hundreds and we're playing a III team in very mixed form next round. We might TIE again for the fitness boost for the league.

Andy - we finally beat Young Boys Burn on Saturday!!! Thrashed them in fact, Antoine taking 10-5-10-4!!!

I see that Marsh got a 'Shane Bond' style hattrick in the Cup; taking wickets with the last 3 balls of the game.

Antoine seems to finally got back into form. Before the cup match, his wickets had cost 2.71 each this season.

The team's finally coming together well. There's no dead wood in the First XI, with Skalding possibly next on the chopping block when Acton becomes 'Proficient'
