Season 7 Youth Pulls

How did everyone else get on with their first youth pulls of the season?

Panthers CC used 35 ITS to get this youngster:
Quote:
Luke Crawford (1269367)
RH Batsman, RFM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A destructive player with mediocre leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Panthers CC
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 3,102
Wages: £676 p/w

Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: feeble Concentration: woeful
Bowling: respectable Consistency: feeble
Fielding: abysmal
Bit peeved, I wanted a spin bowler this week to challenge Lamb/Hale, but c'est la vie I guess. Next week I'll be after a batsman, but what would everyone do with Crawford?

Well I was after a batsman - hoping for a restpectable bat, but ended up with a low competent. Will keep and try again next week for another batsman.

If looking to keep him, then I would have 4 nets on him;

1 Stamina
2 Bowling
1 Fielding

Jon Mann - 17 yo, BT Rating=3,887
RH Batsman, RM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A defensive player with superb leadership skills and abysmal experience.
Stamina: mediocre Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: mediocre Concentration: mediocre
Bowling: worthless Consistency: mediocre
Fielding: woeful

That's who we got. I'm thinking of training him up as a long term middle-order bat. His 'superb' leadership skills are a plus that isn't reflected in the BTR. It would have been much better if he'd been a competent bat though.

Got a mediocre bat, resp wkt keeper (and I think mediocre bowling) with competent conc. and mediocre stamina. I think I might sell him as I dont have the nets to do what Id like with him.

That much? I hadn't realised...

He's on 1 bowling net and a batting net until he gets up to mediocre, just in case I do decide to keep him. I am woefully short of bowlers that can bat, and it doesn't help when your keepers only a woeful bat.

Second youth pull; and I'm pretty encouraged with this one:

Quote:
Vincent Ince (1276767)
LH Batsman, LFM Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A cautious player with superb leadership skills and worthless experience.

Plays For: Panthers CC
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 6,609
Wages: £1,164 p/w

Stamina: woeful Wicket Keeping: worthless
Batting: respectable Concentration: respectable
Bowling: worthless Consistency: worthless
Fielding: woeful
Even without any nets he stands to be one of my better batsman, when I get some more nets freed up in a few weeks then I'll stick him on a fielding and fitness nets at least.

That is a very good Trainie - I would get nets on him ASAP - He will bebetter than anything you have in a season.

My youth pull is a bit strange and I am not sure what to do with him;

Eddie Elwin (1277284)
RH Batsman, RH Spin Bowler, respectable batting form, respectable bowling form, fresh
A defensive player with mediocre leadership skills and abysmal experience.

Plays For: Little Australia
Nationality: England
Age: 17 Years Old
Battrick Rating: 8,884
Wages: £898 p/w

Stamina: competent Wicket Keeping: mediocre
Batting: competent Concentration: respectable
Bowling: mediocre Consistency: feeble
Fielding: woeful

Odd one, a bit of a jack of all trades.

I'd personally train him on 1 bat/2 bowl/1 field if the nets were free, as he stands I'd imagine there's a bit of money to be made should he be sold though.
