Welcome indeed. I think Bangladesh has a big future, and despite what everyone says, have made a fairly decent start in international cricket. They have some very talented players, particularly Rafique and Habib-Ul Bashar

Yes I will had my welcome, I have a soft spot for Bangladesh, and hope they find their feet soon, only a score and a bit years ago, Shri Lanka made such a start, and they are OK now.

Hope you stay and post with us, on any of the issues bdmoderator

That record of bangladesh can be broken if bangladesh bat on a green wicket at perth where glen mcgrath. gillespie , bret lee, warne and Macgill where bangladesh will fall like nine pins .

They may well be dismissed cheaply, but probably would still get much more than Australia's lowest ever score of 36!! And of course more than what Sth. Aus got the other day ;-)

In any case, Bangladesh have played many tough bowling attacks in difficult conditions - to not get bundled out for less than 85 on any of these occasions is a decent start :-) (based on this one measure anyway)

Bangladesh played two test matches in Australia. One in Cairns and another one in Darwin. And played well I think. In both mathces Bangladesh loose by innings but played well than expected. So you can't tell it that Bangladesh will fall like nine pins.

Welcome to the board, bdmoderator. As far as I know, only yourself, MrIceKool, and Kallol Sarker have listed Bangladesh as their team or one of their teams. I hope the lack of numbers on this forum won't discourage you from posting a lot of new threads. A guy called Beny is doing that on the Australia forum and it helps to attract new members. Bangladesh needs to be represented on this board so I hope you will stick around and help build it up. Your first post in this thread was very good so I'm sure we'll see plenty more. Until Bangladesh becomes a major Test side they will be tagged as minnows, however, as long as they keep improving we should encourage those improvements. Okay, we're in no doubt that Bangladesh will probably sustain more losses in the future but as they improve the losses won't be so great. Losses by an innings will become an occasional event, the number of draws will increase and eventually the number of wins will increase. So, bdmoderator, don't hesitate to inform us of any positive news such as player or team records and milestones. I'd also like you to explain the domestic setup and whether it needs tweaking to encourage young players and to pomote the best young players to Test level. Which form of cricket is supported most in Bangladesh - one-day or Test matches?
