Sounded like a thrilling match too, a photo-finish towards the end. Well done Bangladesh!

This is a historic day in the history of B'desh cricket, and I'm sure this win will go a long way in proving so many of their critics wrong. Well done to the Tigers! And congrats to Dav Whatmore. Hardwork does pay off. And there is no better example of that then the revival of B'desh under Whatmore. I'm very, very pleased for B'desh. And couldn't have possibly been happier for them.

My sentiments exactly Zainub. Bangladesh played very well today. Some very talented and hard working youngsters are coming up and have performed very well for BAN. For some time I had been wondering when Whatmore would get tired of losing again and again and again but the players did him proud today. They batted sensibly enough. The bolwing was accurate and the fielders really backed up the bowlers. There were numerous instances when brilliant fielding dried up runs for IND and at times, resulted in run outs.

A photo of Whatmore after the win...escatic no doubt:

Actually Bangladeshi batsmen have to play with reponsibility. We win the match. But our top order fails again. Only 1-2 batsman played well. If our batting goes perfectly, I think we could win more matches in near future.
