Bangladesh Improvment.>

Well done in the one day series.
Bangladesh may have lost the series 2-1, but some good came from this series, Bangladesh managed to win the 2nd ODI, and it looked like a heavy defeat today.

But even out of todays final match, Bangladesh salvaged some pride, with their batting, scoring over 250, chasing a daunting 300 plus.

Bangladesh has been critisised for it's batting, but winning a ODI, and scoring over 250 against India, is a big improvment.

I think in the nest 3 years, Bangladesh will come of age, so Bangladesh supporters keep your heads up, you will get there.

I agree!I really think B'desh has a lot of positives to take from this series. Some bright individual performance should be really heartening for the team and its fans.Things are really looking up for them.Good for B'desh and good for cricket in general as well.

Thank for that,I liked the bit you posted about being good for cricket in general as well, they are getting better slowly, but I think we agree, they will get there.

The upcoming Zimbabwe vs. Bangladesh series will be quite competitive...I wouldn't be surprised if Bangladesh notch up their first test match win. With no Streak to salvage the bowlers, who will once Panyangara and Hondo get slaughtered by Ashraful and Bashar?

Actually i wouldnt really come to that conclusion cuz i really think the others might still take it as an oppurtunity to prove themselves. Also playing against fellow minnows, might give the more experienced players like Dion, vermuelen and Taibu to prove a point or two.

Exactly Ern. The fact of the matter is, international cricket in general will benefit greatly if there were ten quality teams, as opposed to the current eight, and hence when Bangladesh become good (I say when, not if), it will be something for all to cheer.

Your support for Bangladesh is quite admirable Ern, has definitely taught me a thing or two about backing the underdog Well done Sir!

You are so correct here Maranello, I think it is only a matter of time, I am looking forward to seeing them play when England play them.

And I agree with your comment "When", good to see some success.

Well said.It would also set a good example to other countries who are slowly being introduced to the game. Also, the next edition of Asia cup would definitely be very interesting to watch.4 quality teams playing.Truly a mouth watering prospect for a cricket fanatic!

I am not saying they have become world beaters. But that win proves that its not impossible for them to do well.So I am just saying they are on the right track and if they keep improving they will be a competitive side.
