They were kicked outta the commonwealth... but i think they maybe back in... not sure on that.

Mugabe thinks Commonwealth is "Evil" and doesn't want to have to fight Blair's "Attempts to colonise Zimbabwe", so Zimbabwe aren't in the Commonwealth.

| Zimbabwe is not presently a member of the Commonwealth. It was suspended, as ACL rightly says, and following that President Mugabe withdrew his country from the Commonwealth in December 2003. BBC news report here. Current list of members here.

On the subject of Zimbabwe, I heard/read in the news, Zimbabweans are going to the polls.

The Zimbabweans headed to the polls. Mugabe won, falling one seat short of his self expected two-thirds majority. Unfortunately for Zimbabweans, things seem to step backwards. But I read something that made me think the other day. It goes something like this: Things are changing...sort of. Threats of Death have been replaced by threats of starvation. Beatings have been replaced by hefty fines and the MDC are allowed to have rallies....Albeit 500km out of Harare.
