excellent performance, well done, seeing as their next game is against england and is a day/nighter, in england you only need to win the toss and bat first to win a day nighter as it's next to impossible to win batting in the dark here. Would be funny to see bangladesh at the top of the table with 2 wins out of 2 in a tournament everyone was saying they shouldn't even be in

Congrats to the Bangla-Tigers! Ashraful played a very memorable innings! But I'd still say it would be a good idea if BAN could get to play more against the A-teams of the test-playing nations. Feel very happy for BAN and sad for Kenya. They could do as well or even better if they got the same amount of exposure and support.

Cool

I know what you mean Dave, though not sure I would want to be any warmer than I already am, on the hottest weekend of the year.

Watching Ashraful and Aftab Ahmeds celebrations reminded me of what cricket is all about, and why i'm such a huge fan of it. Hats off to the Bangladeshi's, who surely have silenced a few critics now.

Well what can i say Tigerfan? The side was almost full strength only because Symonds was out. Australia only go play a full strength team for finals and go into normal game with either a almost full strength team or an understrength team due to the rotation policy, injury, or in this case drunkeness. If you are looking for a hint of sour grapes, you will not find any from me, other Aussies on this forum, the Aussie public or media. I can only reiterate by saying:

A weak Bangledesh is bad for world cricket but a strong Bangledesh is good for world cricket. I hope they enjoy further success not only againstAustralia, but against all nations as well
Satisfied?

Brilliant performance.Having watched England thrash you out of sight in 2 Tests and the first 1 day game i feared the worst for you,but i am delighted i was wrong.Fantastic knock by Ashraful who finally looked a decent player having been all at sea over the previous month. There is hope for the future in your team with a few good young players to build the team round.
