| Hi, everyone. Hope you guys are all good. I just thought you might want to know about this new ball I have been developing over the past few months. It is called HIPPY SPIN and when it is bowled, it can do 4 different things: 1) Have topspin 2) Have backspin 3) Have legspin 4) Have offspin. To bowl hippy spin, place the ball between your biggest finger and the pinky, with trhe ball resting on the ring finger. When you release it, the back of your hand should face the batsman and the ball should be 'kicked' off your ring finger (place your ring finger on your palm and flick it forward). If anyone wants help with spin bowling, just send me a message. I can help you bowl offspin, arm balls, doosras, top spinners, sliders and hippy spin. Thanks. |

| can you please explain the whole theory on the hippy spin, because the way that you have explained it is just as a more difficult and impractical way of bowling legspin.

| Ok i dont really need the details on how to bowl it just the theory of how it spinns differently to any other spin delivery. By the sound of things it seems to have a lot of over spin that cause the ball to bounce sharpley

| I was thinking the same, it sounds like a topspinner with a daft grip to me. |

| It's just the different angle you release the ball at ie for a legspinner you just have to move your wrist very slightly in the direction for a legspin ball and you'll get legspin! |

| Ok im a leg spinner, and to me it sounds like a stock ball that does rip as much as normal delivery due to it having more over spin than side spin, but i understand the idea of creating a new ball. I have created a few my self one which i use alot is what i call a drifter, the ball looks like a stock legspin delivery (same pace, loop, action and drift)but instead of drifting then turning away from the batsman it just continues in the direction it was drifting. Good for LBWs and Bowling a batsman. One question is your ball that you made up easy to control
