| BANGLADESH v WORLD A TEAM 25/25 Match; Dhaka Well guys, it's down to our fourth match of this tour - and most likely, our toughest. 25 over matches are always closer than the two longer versions of the game. But the question today was, where do I get my shirts from? Anyway, our XI went out today with the intention of beating the Deshi's again. Could they do it? BANGLADESH Innings 130/3 (25) The strongest of the Bangladesh batting performances so far. A nice look at the top order at last with the Hossain pair creating a 47 run partnership. The rest of the top order followed in style with some neat strokeplay to leave Bangladesh in a strong position at the end of their innings. Could WAT chase that? On the bowling front, considering it was a 25/25 match, the bowlers bowled well! Hamza Ansari, Kartik and Hailwood the three wicket takers, but all of the bowling team had decent economy rates. 131 to win. WORLD A TEAM Innings 131/1 (24.3) A very, very close match in the end - with World A Team winning by 9 wickets with just a trio of balls to spare! At moments during the innings, it looked as if Bangladesh had slowed World A Team to a stop, but they came back fighting in the last few overs with boundaries all over the place. Adam Berry made a terrible start for World A Team when he was out for five, but then came the big push with Quagmire and Rhys Williams. They both had made their half centuries by the end of the innings, so congratulations. Bangladesh didn't bowl badly - apart from the bowler who probably lost the match for them, Naimur Rahman, who had an economy rate of 13.67!!! In the end, a deserved win for the World A Team eleven, but, have Bangladesh wasted their best opportunity, or is there more to come? Check the scorecard to find out how YOU did! NEXT MATCH: 26 Dec - 1st ODI, Chittagong. |

| Well I obviously tried inducing a collapse just for you Colly! Anyway, I'm going to blame the pitches in the sub-continent for my woeful performances so far. At least my catching's been up to scratch...
