25 Over Match

Well guys, can we maintain our 100% record in 25-25 matches?

West Indies V World A Team
Recreation Ground, St. Johns, Antigua

WEST INDIES WON THE TOSS AND ELECTED TO BOWL FIRST

Could we bat well with our star batting line-up?

World A Team (25) Innings
114/2

Well, yes, we did - albeit a little to slow for my liking. We may be able to defend this target, we may not, it's one of those that could go either way - but would be a nice victory to prepare ourselves for the final two ODI's and then the Test Match series.

So, we maintain our 100% (2 from 2) record in the very short form of the game - let's keep this winning combination going during the rest of the tour please!

Next, the 4th ODI (tomorrow)

HAMZA ANSARI

HASHIM MALIK
RHYS WILLIAMS
ADAM BERRY +
CHRIS WILSON

I decided on this because I believe it is a strong batting line-up (down to Number 8) and has 6 bowlers (3 specialist), and as we all know, unfortunately, the One Day game is dominated by the bat.

I am clearly in due to my far superior economy rate.

No Mahmood luck needed for me!

4th ODI

Well guys, can we take the series here in the 4th ODI? I sure hope so!

West Indies V World A Team
Sabina Park, Kingston, Jamaica

Could we bat well with our long batting line-up?

Well, once again, we batted well, getting a very good score on an average surface, with something in it for both bowlers and batsmen! However, we must be wary, as this target is very chaseable by a heavily experienced West Indies team!

YES!!! We did it, wrapping up the series in style with a tight, good bowling performance as we restricted the West Indies and got 6 wickets along the way! Brilliant stuff guys, a well earned series victory - especially after the disappointment of Bangladesh.

Second best economy rate, a wicket and a not out* hopefully will see me play the final game.

*Technically I didn't bat but I can count it all I like.

Excellent result, a more convincing win with several contributing. I'm pleased with my performance, scoring two vital runs (:P) and keeping my head as the batsmen came at me later on.
