I take it I'm not going to be given a run in the Test matches?

Nice work down the leg side for that stumping - thought you said you were having trouble with my wrong-un? :P

Not a good result but we did well to win the series after a poor Bangladesh performance. Quagmire is in tremendous Ponting-like nick and I'm pleased with my performances.

Sorry SS, we're just indulging ourselves in the game a bit - you can't watch these games and I'm not sure how Adam "stumped" Lara for me!!!

He chased a wayward delivery and got punished. It was his own fault, I'd have expected better from someone with over 10,000 ODI runs!

As for the wrong-un... I might be able to spot it by the end of the tour. It's coming out nicely Chris!

My long absence from the forum caused me to be dropped from the side. I am back and hopefully will be in contention for a place. I didn't do too bad either. Got some good scalps. Well just Lara.

1st Test

Yes, it's the match you've been waiting for, our first test match since our thrashing of Bangladesh. Could we maintain the test form against a stronger West Indian team?

West Indies V World A Team
Kensington Oval, Barbados

WORLD A TEAM WON THE TOSS AND ELECTED TO BOWL FIRST

So, we're bowling first, let's try and get these West Indians out cheaply, and then go on to another famous test victory!

West Indies First Innings
239 all out

Great performance by the bowlers, admittedly on an unusually poor pitch. Getting Lara out relatively cheaply and gaining a couple of ducks really gave us the edge in that innings! The fast bowlers were supreme and ruled the innings from the offset. Ketz also picked up a couple in his come-back match!

World A Team First Innings
337 all out

We picked up a healthy lead there with some strong batting performances all round - Rhys and Quagmire with a large opening partnership, with Rhys converting that into an individual century. A strong performance from the lower order boosted us up to the 100+ lead.
