England vs India seam bowling comparison of current squads

There have been a few Indians on this board and the BBC with severe rose coloured spectecles, rubbishing England. As a response I have looked up the following to demonstrate why India despite the impressive batting are so poor away from the specially prepared flat spinner friendly wickets at home.

PWC ratings for seam bowlers.
Balaji (IND) 74pts wkts @ 63.50 (yes that is seventy four its not a typo)
Pathan (IND) 290pts wkts @ 40.31
Nehra (IND) 297pts wkts @ 43.56
Jones (ENG) 318pts wkts @ 25.93
Anderson (ENG) 340pts wkts @ 34.85
Agarker (IND) 347pts wkts @ 44.35
Flintoff (ENG) 445pts wkts @ 41.24
Khan (IND) 574pts wkts @ 35.22
Hoggard (ENG) 602pts wkts @ 30.98
Harmison (ENG) 819pts wkts @ 23.25

Johnson, Kirtley and Bicknell are also rated higher than all the Indians except Khan and they can't even get in the England Squad!

My conclusion would be that in English conditions England should win a series between England and India.
In Indian conditions it would be much closer, with the stronger Indian spin option probably shading it on a high scoring series, but with the strong chance of a lot of draws and possible drawn series.

In all as you need 20 wickets to win a test match England must be regarded as the stronger side.

The England bowling line up is looking a bit different now than it was for Indias last tour (not necessarily in personnel but certainly in experience).

The only chance the Indian team have of whitewashing anything is to come round to my house and have a go at the picket fence.

Okay lets get back to talking about who will win.

I still think it will be a draw - I do however predict a series win for England.

Vinoth England are a dramatically different team from even this time last year. Harmison has become a true world class bowler, and the rest of the attack is complementing that very well and the whole team is improving rapidly. OK Trescothic is looks to have been found out for want of footwork, and Hussain is nearing retirement, but we have some excellent youngsters coming through, and with Jones behind the stumps the specialist batsmen now go down to 7.

Don't know when India come to England next but I will look forward to the series, the ODI's are not really my scene (I leave them to the MacDonalds generation.) I prefer Test matches (and preferable a 5 test series of them) for the, tactics, strategy and sheer mental energy that is required, but in either case England are a strong team now.

The difference between India, Pakistan and England is negligable as things stand. I think England are the best of the three but it will depend very much on the conditions.

LOL

With those bowlers!
Pakistan are a weak batting side and a strong bowling side (if the pitch isn't totally flat)
India are a strong batting side and a weak bowling side (if the pitch isn't turning square or seriously ropey)
England are now a good bowling side and a good batting side (lacking a spinner).

Lets just face facts, you cannot come up with any solid reasons for any of the rubbish you come out with. You are just empty rhetoric.
Either back up your comments with something or you can expect me (and probably everyone else) to laugh at you.

Fact Is Fact!

Your Team Is A Weak one, So It Might Defeat Teams Like Ban , Zim Who Have Lack Og Quality Players and Confidence in them.

You Lost In Ashes tour, Natwest Test And One Day Series.

And Back To Back, WI Is Going to defeat u now in the 4 the test match.

And You Think Still Eng Is very Good team.

Lets See When India Tours Eng For An Whitewash In their Homeland For England
