Presumably the message where he threw a wobbly has now been deleted? Having read the Ganguly messages I'd like to read what followed after it.

While all the boards can be read by everybody the boards are setup as homes for each nationality. I could setup the board so that each new member had to join a particular usergroup to limit the forums which they could view and post to but that would be a retrograde step, in my opinion. Better to have all the boards readable and postable by all to foster international relations. Everyone is entitled to an opinion. The remark about Ganguly is quite acceptable on that person's own forum as their own opinion. However, if that person went across and posted it to the India board - that is another matter. If that happens and somebody on the India board complains, then I have no option but to ban that person from posting again to the India forum. Even if the post contained a reasoned case for their view, upsetting folk is still the outcome which is unacceptable and unwanted on this board.

If there was all-out warfare between two forums I can actually set it up so that neither of the two forums can view or post to the other forum. Nifty!

It all kicked off after he quoted an article in a newspaper about Nasser / English asians / Norman Tebitt!!

Check out the thread Loyalty - British Asians in Cricket back on page 3 or 4. Most of it, needless to say, has been removed. I hope when Clive gets in here we can have his version of events.

Hi people, have only been posting on the BBC message board for about a month, used to look at it a bit before that though. In that month it's gone downhill unbelievably fast, it was quite good when I first went on. This seems a really well organised site, hopefully not too much Don Talon (although he is a member on here I see), Thierry's Golden Boot (thinks he's a cricinfo live scorecard) or Proud Aussie (makes up stuff and then posts it eg Vaughan falling down some stairs). Dont' like any of 'em.

I just replied to a post by Proud Aussie on the BBC board. Now, both our posts are gone. I suggested he be more courteous when posting to the England board. So my reply has gone with his. This is probably what happened to Mark Kidger today. His post was probably linked to someone elses that got removed and his went with it, as a result.

Welcome to the forum, Vaughan To Run. Let me know if anyone tries to rundown this forum.

Good to see you here VTR. I think I became active on the BBC boards around the same time as you. I was enjoying sharing my hope and optimism for Englands cricketing future until the last few days when it's all gone, well, to pot. I reckon this place looks alright. Nice decor. Good members. Yeah we should be ok.

Hi Mr Admin, I think every reply I ever sent to him was removed, because I couldn't refrain from calling him an idiot at the end of each post. Most people seem to ignore him and the aforementioned these days but they still clog the place up with pointless thread after pointless thread.

Cheers RWS, you did seem to be on a lot when I was on, for me that is work time, nothing like getting paid for talking about cricket, it's almost like being a commentator! I feel I've got a bit to say (the Beeb quoted my posts 3 times in a week), this looks a better place to do it.

The problem seems to be that the Indian fans feel free to ridicule England and England supporters, but get incredibly upset if anyone criticises their team. Yes, one Indian fan came on the England board to say "Good ridance" because Clive had been "causing trouble on the International board" - translation: he criticised Ganguly's captaincy.

We'll see. Maybe Helen is right and the MB will get sorted out. From what I can see though, all the regulars have migrated to here. Perhaps Helen or one of the other Mods will come here and ask us to go back.

Frankly though, seeing the way that the MB works, not too many people are going to miss us. C'est la vie.

Anyone for cricket?
