If the WIs bowlers bowl well tomorrow then this is a good total. On the otherhand, if ENG bat for 4+ sessions then ENG will be in a good position to force a win.

well we will be pleased that were got over 300...lets face it although aus has raised the standard 300 is still a goodish score in test cricket

Yes.. 300 for Sabina Park isn't too bad.. but WI will have to bowl very, very well to contain England tomorrow: the young bowlers have nothing to play with!

I think you're right though Don: the performance of Smith and Hinds suggests that you've finally got decent cover for your established stars: considering that Gayle, Sarwan, Lara and Chanderpaul made 35 between them... 300 is pretty awesome!
