What do you prefer Sky or CH 4?

Assume you had access to both simaltaneously, who would you prefer and why?

I'd take Sky any day, I just can't stand Mark Nicholas.

After seeing Mark Nicholas on the Australia v New Zealnd series, I have this horrible feeling (in fact it's an aboslute certainty) he will be on Sky in 2006. Sky did it with Gower after he fronted up the BBC bid and then signed for SKy as soon as Channel 4 got the rights.

In answer to your question, I have absolutely no problem with Sky - I mean it was through them that I was able to follow every ball of Lara's 153 not out against Australia and his double century against McGrath in the preceeding test match has to be the best passage of test cricket I have ever witnessed. I thank heaven for Sky's invovlement in cricket.

Does anyone remember how much of the 1987 world cup we saw here - the last one before Sky came along.

i prefer watching C4, and in my opinion Mark Nicholas is a great Commentator , he seems to know so much about the game. He must be good if the aussies let him commentate on their series down under!
Although i have nothing against sky's coverage!

C4 by a mile. The thing that bugs me with SKY is that evertime a graphic comes or goes from the screen its arrives and goes with an annoying "swoooosssssshhhhh" but gets on my tits no end

Colville's friendly attitude comes across really well. In comparison I find Nicholas a bit smug. CH4 coverage is similar to BBC in it's somewwhat stuffy approach whereas SKY is closer to Channel 9 in Australia who's commentary teams are 2nd to none. Or they were until Nicholas turned up.

Tony Grieg is my all time favourite. I'm still trying to figure out why Channel 9 ditched the legend Ian Chappell for Mark Nicholas to be honest.

I don't find that too annoying, I guess if you keep the volume fairly low, you won't even get to notice it RBLC.

Sky's replays I think are the best, no body can revil them in that repsct, I loved the super slow motion thingy they introduced last season.

Me too. Why would you want to replace Chappell in the first place, and even if you do for some reason, why in all the world would you want to replace him with Mark Nicholas...loads of other better comentators around.
