strauss has just edged one through the slips as well. Just relying on the fact that this run of success may give us the mental strength to come through this!!! |

| I think it's important that these guys put on a fairly substantial partnership, if they can get around 60/70 runs, we should really get home from there. |

I'd rather get beat by the Aussies than see Graeme Smith beat us in anything that's not a dead rubber. |

| OK, so chill may not be fully appropriate.... pace up and down may be a better option.... |

| Vaughan gone, he was looking good as well. oh ****. Still it took a great delivery to get rid of him, need thorpe to make up for his first innings performance, he's been there and done it before. |

| Vaughan or Stewart? Is Michael Vaughan going to turn into one of those players who gets caught up in the emotion and thrill of it all? Reaching the plane from which he can blister two or three fours and then inexplicably get out. Or was it really a magnificent ball?

| It was a serious delivery. But Butch, what a poor shot. |

| Seems to me the pitch is breaking up if the beeb commentry is anyting to go by. Lots of turn for smith, and both bats riding their luck, with thorpe very lucky to get an lbw decision go his way despite the fact he was plumb. How long to close of play ??????
