No - it has to be Strauss with honourable mentions to Simon Jones and Butcher.

Has to be Strauss by a mile, doesn't it!!?? Top effort!!

Some good work by Giles and S Jones, also Butcher for the first innings knock.

Just a quick point- shouldn't Giles be on the short list when he bowled and batted well this match, when Vaughan is included for doing not a lot really with the bat?

Spain

Hi Kirsty, Merry Xmas - I guess now you can use your socks for Santa!

I was only going to put Lord Brocket in the poll 'cos I knew it would be a landslide! Feel free to have a word with a mod if you want the poll edited .

Nah, it's cool!! I think it's fair to say Strauss is going to get all the votes. Just don't like to see Gilonot getting his dues!!! (old habit!!!!)

Happy Christmas to you too!!

Looks like i'm on my own then!!!

I'm going for Simon Jones just because he really did turn the game, had Kallis or even Pollock not been dismissed we'd have been really struggling to make a bigger 4th innings total.

Plus its as good as i've seen him bowl ever, even pre-injury.
