i hope the slightly obvious pimping is ok, just there's still a good few part timers over there that are decent posters and i think it would be nice to not have to read the site anymore but will miss their posts, shame they don't have an email function.

Back on the old board Sundaram has made a return. Somehow a post claiming that Mugabe is right has manged to remain there all morning despite being of no relevance to the board whatsoever. He has also begun a thread moaning about no-one liking him and how everyone dislikes him purely 'cos he doesn't say how wonderful England are all the time.

How good it is to have found refuge fom his vitriol!

Thats the problem oliver. He does sometines write balanced articles other times just a rant. I dont mind someone taking an england side to pieces if its a- true or b- from an aussie who are the only people who can slag everybody off. Give me examples of why harmsison isnt the 3rd best bowler in the world and I'll argue my case and so on. I can be swayed on most matters but I wont be beaten into submission by someone shouting at me.

Well I have also come across this site from a post on the bbc message board, while I did not post many messgaes I do like to try and get some on and at least here it appears every hing is taken seriously and cricket is disscused rather than pathetic issues all the time.

I hope to contribute when possible to some good discusions. It all looks good so far.

Much of the problem for me comes down to those such as Proud Aussie who think that because they support the best team in the world then they are right about everything. There doesn't need to be any substance to what they are saying etc.


Sundaram is obviously an intelligent bloke, sometime very eloquent he can put across a decent post but some of the stuff is blatantly agressive and designed to wind everyone up. The mods should delete those posts rather than some of those deleted of late.
