This site is so much easier to post on. No hanging around waiting for pages to load etc !

I go for quality over quantity. For example, our friend Sundaram on the BBC site has posted over 1000 posts, most of which seem to be arguing among himself....if that makes sense.

Hello all.

Well, another one bites the dust.
I was only ever an infrequent user of the BBC site, but it had become very quiet without all of you lot there. I'd missed the link to find you, so thanks to Victor Frankenstein for his very cunning way of getting the URL past the BBC mods earlier on.

Definitely seems quicker, but I need time and practice navigating. Hopefully should get on here a bit next week to discuss the next England v Windies matches.

PS Am I allowed to use the word 'smelly' on this message board? For some reason, it's not accepted on the BBC.

"Smelly" is acceptable and all derivatives. Well, maybe not all.

Sundaram is currently deep in discussion with himself - he has started 3 of the last 4 threads without proper reply.

/me nods

always a pleasure, never a chore. The bold function is an oft underused tool for escaping censorship

Quality responses to Sundaram currently to be seen .......

"I'm not answering anything you write any more - frankly your views aren't worth my time - and I hope all the other posters follow suit and you take your nonsense somewhere else. " from Scott

and from Cannonball Taffy O'Jones this all time classic insult ....

"Sundried KP (sic" !!!
