For what it's worth, Helen (BBC Host) is saying that she is going to investigate and that new software is being introduced to stop abuses. I'm afraid though that if this MB is up to anything I will not be going back. I seem to have stirred up a nice hornets nest there - 37 replies already in the thread about my resignation. Now we can just wait for a jubilant response from Sundaram to my post...

Those BBC Moderators are a waste of space - they just havent got a clue about what they're doing - that Board isn't Moderated as such - they simply don't have the resources to Moderate it - the're just being reactive all the time and having to deal with people who 'complain' about posts - and only then will the remove posts that 'seem' to break their House Rules - half of its made up.

How they can let a half-wit like SKR post his ramblings there that are clearly written with one sole purpose - to annoy and wind people up perpetuate is quite beyond me - I just don't get it. People are leaving in droves with that half-wit still posting his ramblings - its like Nero playing the fiddle while Rome burns!

Captain

Well thank you for trying to help!

They're monitoring them because they know people are getting quite irrate about a few things currently going on. I've personally complained about half a dozen of SKR's posts - and they've not removed one of them.

I distinctly remember Helen - one of the Mods - stating that politically orientated posts would be removed - and SKR goes and posts one supporting Mugabes stance on Zimbabwe Cricket - and they allowed it! I'm just confused.

(plus, not many of me mates follow cricket) That went down the swanny so i am pleased to be here. Just thought i'd let u know that the posters on here were the ones i wanted to engage.
Well you'll learn a lot more about the game of Cricket here than you will on the BBC board - there are some extremely knowledgeable posters on this board from what I can see.

Helen said that she try to find out what was happening with the complaints, but there's been nothing back from her. Have the Mods actually realised that there has been a massive exodus from the MB?

Well if Don pops along here later for 10 minutes then he'll probably add 300 to it all by himself, so the record is bound to fall!
