Flintoff is getting down to business now. Another six. Bravo's economy-rate after 4 overs - 8.77.

Tresco and Flintoff are swinging at everything now.

Into the last ten overs - might see a good cameo from Blackwell at some stage.

Yes, Freddie is getting his head down now, but early on he was very lucky to get away with some wild stuff. Also the Windies fielding (especially Lara) is not too hot.

Run-out chance. Flintoff dives to get in. Flintoff was out if the ball came back over the stumps.

Rampaul nearly lost his head by a straight drive from Flintoff.

A freak catch by Dillon on the long-on boundary gets Flintoff. The ball went like a rocket and the ball popped up as Dillon fell down but the ball came down again on Dillon's body and somehow Dillon managed to get hold of it again.

As I write, Blackwell GONE to a very good full-length delivery which deviated past Blackwell's forward push and hit the stumps. No cameo today.

I shouldn't be too critical of Freddie though, he hasn't played for a fortnight and it's not easy on a slow pitch. He rode his luck and now looks very good. England on course for 300?

Hi Nikhil

You could be on for your prediction of England scoring 300.

Has this innings changed your thoughts on Tresco?Flintoff going great guns as well,Flintoffs out 59

Hmmm....

Freddie out to sensational catch by Dillon (well it hit him really and he caught it on the rebound - bit lucky) and Blackwell out almost straight away. Read in now (Cricinfo still has him down as Clarke).

Read is looking focussed and composed. He's getting bat on ball to every delivery and rotating the strike.

Trescothick run-out to a direct hit at the stumps. Read dabbed the ball down to the gully region and Trescothick ran to the danger end.

Hi Ernest,

Looks like my prediction will be wrong, but that was possible only if Flintoff or Blackwell stayed in.

Good knock from Tresco. I have rated him as dangerous always. But he has some serious flaws with his technique. Even in ODI's I think a sound technique is important. Hope this inning brings a spring in his steps and he starts moving his feet well. He has a very good hand-eye coordination, but his lack of footwork lets him down.

Hope Gough can stay with Read,England have a good score but not as great as it looked when Freddy and Tresco where together.
