The Windies are just behind at the same stage but, with cloud threatening, if they go off for rain it could be very close. Two useful wickets, but the West Indies are still right in the match. If it goes the distance maybe the length of their tail may be decisive but, right now, two or three good overs and they could go ahead.

Reading between the lines (sic) it seems that the boys had a bit of a 'do' onboard the Hampshire geezer's big posh boat (not for the first time on this tour) and Giles was bevvied, fell and hurt himself. On Sky earlier he said he will be fit for tomorrow.

I simply don't understand why the WI persevere with Ricardo Powell, they guy just looks 'clueless' to me.

Powell is like Afridi. A S/R of 100 and average of 20. Some time I don't understand how the selectors can be so dumb. I haven't seen an iota of improvement in his technique or temparament over his career. If he was so talented, he would have been able to adjust by now.

As for Lara, by coming out late, he's added more pressure on himself. He can build an inning if he comes early. Now the required R/R is above 6 and he has to start walloping as soon as he comes in, which is not the kind of batting one would associate with classy player like Lara. Sad really.

Flintoff's bowling has kept England in this match. But he's only got two overs left....

Powell's just 'clueless' in my mind, doesn't know how to build an innings at all, he's just a 'smasher'.

I was just going to say Lara can be so dangerous in these situations, he's such a good player theat he can adapt his game according to the situation, he's that good, and he's the last person I'd want to see 'in' at the end of an innings, fortunately he just nicked a harmy delivery which was caught by Read!

England have to look favourites now in my mind.

The run-rate is now up to nearly eight an over. WI need some big overs.

Wow! What a time for Steve Harmison to rediscover line and length. A maiden over at this stage of the game puts England right on top again.

He's trying to cement his position as a test batsman I think.
