Indeed - and in difficult circumstances again. It can only be a good thing for the England team to have as many players (and middle order batsmen in particular) banging on the door demanding selection.

I have hopes that Mike Powell (Glam) might make a case for his selection but see that he has been unable to convert a start into a decent score once again.

Well Can't , I have always been a big supporter of Regional cricket . We have a system where it's almost like a lottery if you get spotted by a County if you live outside the area . People say no one would support regions . Well i'm from the Cheshire which is the North West . I would rather support the North West than Cheshire .
