The support put up by his countrys cricket board is impressive - even if it did involve sledging Chris Broad.
I hope it will soon be old news. |
Hi R W S
Yes the sooner the better,I dont want to see him banned.it is a very strange situation, chris Broad saw it as it was,I think he only meant the Doosra,Murali should really dump tha delivary,he dose not use it much any way.
His action lookes horrible, but chucking is an emotive word,it makes you think of actual throwing, like when a fielder throws a ball at the stumps, get in the way ,and you will get hurt.
His acion has come under question for ages, let it go,that now is the only fair course of action,(exept his Doosra)If his arm is bent and he continues to bowl without trying to srtaighten it, his arm, finishing with the same arc as he started, what does it matter He is no danger to a batsman, and his action will still be predictable,so it would be playable.
I share your concern about the younger generation of cricketers, the ICC has to make hard and fast rules, action taken as soon as a player is found to be bowling incorrectly,to late for Murali it has taken to long, and to many people have poked their big hooters in,common sence here has to prevail.
