I'm sure you're right - Tresco will basically be carrying out Vaughan's instructions.

I'm pleased for Tresco, I'm pleased he's been given this responsibility and as V-C he should have been, and I think he'll do a great job. I just hope he gets his sh*t together regarding his batting!

What odds on Tresco smashing a brutal double-ton? I'll be the first to praise him if he does!

Yes, it'll be an interesting test of Tresco - it could be the making of him, but it could all go pear shaped! I hope it all goes well for the lad - an England win and a century under his belt would do me - but a brutal double ton would be better!!

I hope he can make amends for going off for bad light (well, Butcher was to blame too!) last summer....
