This is the Cricinfo description of Tuffey's wicket

"You miss I hit, plays across the line to a
harmless delivery, pitched on a good length, keeps straight and
takes the off stump out of the ground"

Having watched in on TV, I would not see it as a "harmless" delivery, actually it was a full straight ball that moved off the saem and was way too good for Tuffey.

I would take CricInfo's commentary with a pinch of salt.

Cairns has played a poor innings with no footwork and plenty of luck. Should have been out a number of times - has CricInfo reflected that?

Smile Eight down

Nice to see Jones rewarded with the resposibility this morning ahead of Hoggard. England deserve someluck after yesterday. Great effort by the boys this morning.

Jeckle & Hyde!!

What is a cone boy?

The Channel 4 comentators were very effusive about the ball that got out Tuffey - said ti was too good for a tail-ender. It looked a pretty good delivery to me.

I also think Chris Cairns has played a streaky innings - there've been a couple of good shots, but he just hit one over the slips that didn't look deliberate, bottom-edged another down the ground - he's getting lucky. But now we're down to Chris Martin, hopefully it won't matter too much.
