Strauss is dealing in boundries. Looks like Hussain is trying his best to make Vettori look like murali!

Isn't it interesting how ENG's hopes lie so heavily on two men born outside of these sceptered isles? What I find even more interesting is that I (and I suspect, no-one else) has the remotest concern about thier "English/Welshness" or thier commitment to the cause of the ENG team.

Argh! I just got back from my job interview. What the hell is happening!?

who were those other two people who made centuries in each innings on their Test debut?

Argh! We have to get through to lunch unscathed

what price Nasser to get bowled?

Slowly but surely

Sos - Hope the job interview went as you hoped.

There's some streaky runs coming at the moment but who cares?

Strauss' 50 up - what a debut!

The other day I foolishly praised Strauss's century and got him out just before close of play.

So this time I will say - century and 50 on debut: big deal. Drop him for the next test!

Well I hope you don't get your wish. I don't want to see Jones come in until after tea!

England favorites again

I'd like to see this pair together at tea!

If we can get through to lunch we'll be in a better position than at the start of the day - just. The new ball has been seen off and the outfield is pleasantly fast - very doable this.

What perveted machocism is this?!

I also think its odd that one player is playing with another that could replace him for the next test. I'm surprised Nas hasnt tried to run him out.
