He's done it! Nasser HUSSAIN!!!

I love this man. Spectacular catches, a brilliant run-out, 36 and 106 not out! Take that Mike Gatting, you fat, disloyal rand-chasing oaf! Take that, you lot in the press box! Take that, Clive Wilshin, for even thinking that maybe he should be dropped to squeeze Strauss in (but only because he might be retiring soon anyway - if Nasser agrees to tour next winter, he should be allowed to). This is his best innings since Christchurch in 2001.

According to Boycs on C4, you should play your best in form batsman, that means Butcher may have to make way!

Question: "Any message for the selectors?"

Nasser: "No message for the selectors. They've got some decisions to make and I've got some decisions to make".

TMS just now. Hmm. What could he be thinking about? Making himself available for selection to South Africa, I hope!

It doesn't really matter what the selectors decide, really. If he wants to play, Nass is so bloody-minded he's going to come out to the middle at the fall of the second wicket and field under the helmet at short leg anyway!

You are NOT serious are you Scot?. I feel very strongly about this. First everyone should know that Nasser knew better than everyone exactly where he stood with the selectors. He may have been under pressure, he may not. but since Fletcher and Graveney have been his friends and mentor for the last how many years, I dont think it was kept a secret to him.

Secondly, Mark Butcher should not be subjected to the same pressure by media after ONE mediocre match. Its just sheer ludicrousy. What if Butcher now makes a century at Headingley (I seem to remember him making one there once). Will everyone say, "Mark Butcher, what a guy, he really makes the critics eat their words". Nasser knows this whole media circus thing is bull****, but is bull**** he will make a handsome living off once he retires. Dont fall sucker to it Scott. Butcher is class and he's consistent. he should definitely stay and there should be no debate:

Ashley Giles should be dropped for Vaughan and everyone else should retain their place. That's what should happen, and what I think will happen.

But, then I was the one who said England had lost this match half-way through day four, so what the f### do I know!!
