Pick any five from seven!!!

Ok, let's play a new game.

After healthy discussion on the subject of Rich Greenfield's XI for Headingley.
Let's take the unpleasant assumption that the selectors will only pick five specialist batsmen for the third Test.

So, in alphabetical order, we have Butcher, Collingwood, Hussain, Strauss, Thorpe, Trescothick, Vaughan.
Mr. Hussain has not retired. At time of posting.

Choose any five from those seven and put them in batting order.

You two are pretty much on my wave length, I can see.

I think that's the way I'd go too.

Tresco (last chance !), Vaughan, Butcher, Hussain, Thorpe.

Sorry no Strauss, but
a: Someone has to go
B: I dont have to tell him
C: That is still our most reliable lineup

I'd might yet be convinced to drop tresco. Failure to do well at headingly could see him out on his ear permanently.

That's awfully callous RBLC.

How many would Strauss have had to have scored to get your vote for the next match?
