| There's an ongoing thread on the BBC site disucssing this site (an example below). I dont think the two sites are mutually exclusive & and in a way complement one another. I am also a member at Carribeancricket and Cricketweb - sites that are more interesting for me around the time England play the WI & Aus. Not sure the underlined statement is true though. Quote:

There is silliness on the BBC board and this one is far better moderated, but I would be careful not to get to elitist on this matter. Treat everyone with respect would be a good rule, plus there are a number of decent posters that want to talk cricket; to denounce them as you have above doesn't really add to the generally held belief that this site has more of a family feel to it. How about we accept that the BBC board isn't moderated properly and that some people like to post where they fancy. |
