Smacks of the "wrong sort of leaves" again. Actually that's quite a good pun...to me anyway.

I remember some fun we had on the BBC discussing Rachael's perfect team...
...but we probably shouldn't do that here.
I think deep-down, despite her obvius knowledge of the game, Rachael is really just a a sucker for the pretty boys. I cite as evidence, her favorite batemen are Gower, Dravid, Ramprakash, and Nick Knight! Do I see a pattern emerging. ( ; She also has a mothering instinct towards Chris Read, and harbors an rratinal dislike to Inzi, Rob Key, and Matty Hayden, whch firther fuel my theory. Not sure where Crawley and Butcher fit into this theory though.....

Im going to get my thousandth post on the beeb board, then really cut loose and go on a rampage! Stick around, you'll see some mayhem if you have the stomach for it. The BBC is going to get the kind of HOL they deserve!

I'm afraid people have to earn respect from me - it doesn't come automatically. Until such a time that someone substantiates comments with some reasoning, some thought, anything that logically supports the opinion they're expressing, that opinion or view will be treated by me with the disdain (arrogance if you prefer) that it deserves.

My behaviour on this board is quite different to that on the BBC board for the sole reason that the majority of people here actually support their opinions with some form of reasoning. Far too many people on the BBC board, for whatever reason - ignorance, laziness, stupidity even, put forward opinions that lack credibility. If these people are incapable of supporting the simplest of opinions with a reason why they think it - why should I treat that opinion with any respect? As I said - I do tend to be arrogant on the BBC board - because they make me do it.

It's not to your way of thinking I know, but thats just the way I am - you either need to accept it or reject is as you see fit, but it won't stop me from putting forward my views on the BBC board or here for that matter.

Okay, I guess we will have to disagree on this matter and accept that's the way you want to treat people when talking about cricket.

I still maintain to this day, that a a bit of fuzz on the jaw is an essential part of the stress of modern captaincy. Ponting has it, Waugh had it. Nasser had it in abundance when he was skipper. Even Vaughan is starting to get it. It proves they are too pre-occupied with the repsonsibilty of captaincy to worry abut trivial items like shaving. I notice Nasser became more clean-cut when he relinqushed the reigns.

Anyway, Peter Foy took the time from his ivory tower in Belguim (?) to write pratically a thesis on why I was wrong. I respect his position, but still find it a little inflexible. Top stuff, that you dont get over there any more with the one reply threads and Short Attention Spans.
Does that mean Saeed Anwar is a uberCaptain?
