So, there go the batsmen - into the tail now in 6 overs! Will Brian Lara be shown to be correct? Should Vaughan and/or Tresco have come in later to hold the middle together a bit? Is it now all over bar the shouting? Or am I being too pessimistic?

Both openers fail again! Anyone gonna suggest dropping them? They're as much to blame for this stupid situation as anyone else.

To right vaughan would do us all a good turn by deselecting himself.

And it's just got worse...

Re. the team changes. Seeing the returns from Collingwood, McGrath and Blackwell, dropping Clarke (the one player in the middle order who did his job properly on Sunday) is like the Chairman of a company that has just announced multimillion pound losses firing the tea lady!

But we still have the "big three" of McGrath, Blackwell and Giles to fire a quick 2 or 3.

Oh yes.

Now we can truly see the reasons for the inclusion of Collingwood, McGrath and Blackwell.

Go on Blackwell, prove me wrong.

Theres not a more re-assuring sight in cricket then seeing Mcgrath stride to the crease with the score on 44/4. Can you imagine if someone like Thorpe or Peitersen had to bat under those circumstances?
