Freddie's bowling action allegedly reported..

Apparently Freddie is holding onto the ball too long before delivery. That's not illegal is it?

Nice bit of gamesmanhip by Lara,he could not stand loosing at Ludo,he wants Flintoff to start tampering with his action before the Oval Test,i would like to see how a bowler with as much pace as Flintoff could hold onto the ball longer than he should, his momentum would not allow that.

If Lara sticks to this,we should refuse to play, and let the west Indies, oops sorry,I meant Lara, have the game by default, this kind of thing has gone on long enough, the Australians have made Murali's life a misary.

Holding on to the ball to long?????,and if,and I mean if,would it be illegal?

Can you believe anything a leader of this pack would have to say,Lara just can't play Flintoff, what law says when you have to deliver the ball,ot are laws being wrote on the hip, that is even giving tiny credability to what Lara says.

I don't know how true it is about Laura reporting him. If it was true, surely we would have heard something by now?

Well Pete if it is not true, and Lara has not reported him, then it is just as bad,a whispering campaign, designed to put Flintoff of his game.

I am off to check ceefax, and the BBC.

be against the laws of cricket? I've had a look at http://www.lords.org/cricket/laws.asp and I can't find anything that stipulates the length of holding!

Awaiting the chance to say 'doh!' when the penny drops.

Freddy Flintoff

Well I have looked on ceefax, and the only thing mentioned about Flintoff,he has 3 major nominations, same on ITV,and BBc cricket on line @ 23:11 17/08/2004.

You can link to the West indies Official site,Home page at www.ernie.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk, and there is nothing about Lara, reporting Flintoff there either.
Nice little fun cricket game on the windies site, called Clarence, for kids really, but fun.

Very good links RW,but if you read the posts on the forum, this has been runbling on for a while, and there are some posts there dated the 14th,why have we not heard anything here?

Opinion there is not 100% that Flintoff is a chucker, and to be fair I read the word "alleged",how did the word get out to that forum?
